“All on 6” dental implants involve placing four dental implants into the jawbone to support a full arch of prosthetic teeth. This technique involves strategically placing two dental implants in the anterior (front of the jaw) and two implants at an angle in the posterior (back of the jaw) to provide a strong anchor & firm support for a complete arch of replacement teeth.
This procedure gives permanent and long term solution as compared to traditional dentures. “All on 6” dental implants are an ideal alternative for patients who have damaged or lost most or all of their teeth in one or both of the jaws or who have less bone density. The “All on 6” implant technique is less invasive and is less time-consuming. The four implants are strategically placed at an angle in such a way that they maximize contact and enhance support with available bone helping us to eliminate the need for bone grafting. Once the implants are placed, a temporary set of teeth is attached to the implants immediately so that the patient can resume oral functions immediately. After a period of healing, a permanent set of teeth is attached to the implants.
