It is one of the most cost-effective way of getting full mouth dental implants in India. It involves placement of 4 implants in each jaw over which a special denture is snapped on. They are easy to maintain and clean as the dentures can be easily removed. However in the long run the plastic/acrylic denture gets worn out and needs to be replaced.

FULL MOUTH DENTAL IMPLANTS TECHNIQUE WITH FIXED BRIDGES (ALL ON 8/ ALL ON 6)
Unlike the above-mentioned overdentures these bridges are fixed to the implants. They are fixed with screws. The bridges have vents or holes through which the dentist can remove the screw and the bridge for any repairs or when the connecting screw become loose.

The bridge might be made of acrylic, porcelain fused to metal or zirconia cemented to metal sleeves. A metal free zirconia bridge is not possible, as the connecting screw has to be torqued to prevent loosening. Heavy torqueing of screw is not possible in zirconia bridge without metal sleeves.

You need to visit your dentist for regular cleaning of the dentures who can remove it, if required and place it again after cleaning.

FULL MOUTH DENTAL IMPLANTS TECHNIQUE WITH ALL ON 4
All on 4 is a procedure which allows you to have your full set of fixed dentures placed on four implants per arch. This is somewhat similar to the fixed bridges.

There is are two things you need to know about this technique.

Location of Implant: All on 4 uses implants in the front only, whereas in standard fixed bridge technique implants are placed further back supporting more teeth and decreasing the cantilever. Some skilled dental implantogist in India can place pterygoid implant, giving perfect functional 14 teeth without cantilever, using atleast 8 implants for a porcelain fused metal framework bridge.
Immediate Loading: Acrylic denture is anchored to the implants in all on 4 whereas in fixed bridge acrylic removable denture is given. They are then replaced after 3 months with a fixed prosthesis.
